Free Intro to Lacrosse Camp for Girls - Summer 2019

Free Intro to Lacrosse Camp for Girls - Summer 2019

When:  Saturday, August 24th | 9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Where:  Flower Mound Community Activity Center (1200 Gerault Rd, Flower Mound, Tx 75028) - East Practice Field (located next to the parking lot on the east side of the CAC)

This FREE camp is for Girls who are entering 1st - 12th grades who have never played lacrosse and are interested in giving it a try.

No lacrosse equipment is required for this camp! And lacrosse sticks will be available to those who need to borrow one. Participants just need to dress comfortably, wear athletic shoes or cleats, and bring water with them.

This camp will be conducted by coaches and parents within the FMLA organization - it will be fun, safe, and instructional. Our hope is that your daughter walks away from the camp having had a GREAT experience and wanting to play lacrosse starting in the fall.

During the camp, FMLA board members will provide an overview of girls youth and high school lacrosse, the required equipment and uniforms, as well as the FMLA program, and will be available to answer any questions.

There is no fee for this camp, however, we still need you to register your child for this event.

Starter Lacrosse Kit Offer

FMLA apparel and equipment partner BSN is offering a girls youth starter kit that includes a complete lacrosse stick and ball to camp participants for $30. There will be a cutoff deadline of Sunday, August the 18th to order the starter kit - those that order by the 18th will receive their starter kit at the clinic. If you would like to purchase a starter kit for your child for the clinic, please send an email to Angie Smith by the end of the day on August 18th and bring cash or a check (made payable to "FMLA") to the clinic to pick up your order.

The purchase of this starter kit is not required and just something that is being offered to new players at a discount - lacrosse sticks will be provided to participants to borrow during this camp at no cost.
